ACEnergy will deliver $3.6 million in benefit sharing funds over the Central BESS project lifecycle to neighbours of the project, the local community, and First Nations groups.

ACEnergy has been awarded two of Victoria’s largest battery energy storage projects under the Australian Government’s Capacity Investment Scheme (CIS) Tender 3, with the 250 MW Joel Joel BESS near Stawell and the 350 MW Little River BESS near Geelong.

ACEnergy has issued a Letter of Award to Contemporary Amperex Technology Co. Limited (CATL) for the supply and integration service for three large-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects in Australia.

ACEnergy will progress a range of community benefit initiatives after the Planning Scheme Amendment for its Little River Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project was approved by the Minister for Planning and the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning.

ACEnergy has announced that its 350MW Joel Joel BESS project has become the first project approved under the Victorian Government’s accelerated and streamlined renewable energy planning process.
