Project Overview

The Tummaville Solar Farm project is a proposed renewable energy development near Tummaville in Queensland’s Darling Downs region, within the Toowoomba Regional Council local government area. The project is being co-developed by ACEnergy and InnoGreen Energy. The project is proposed to generate up to 600 MW of solar energy alongside approximately 500 MW battery energy storage system (BESS). Together, these components will provide reliable, affordable and clean power for homes and businesses across Queensland. The project will also create local jobs and support long-term investment in the region.

Our team is working with leading experts to create a carefully planned project that balances technical excellence, environmental care, and community outcomes.

Working with the community

Our purpose is to build respectful, constructive and enduring relationships with the community. We listen and engage with care, and tailor our approach to reflect the unique character and priorities of each region. Our engagement approach may include face-to-face meetings, community information sessions, newsletters, digital updates and direct conversations, helping ensure projects support resilient communities for generations to come.

Community and stakeholder engagement, shared value and community benefit initiatives are embedded throughout the entire project lifecycle.

We are committed to creating a positive legacy in the Darling Downs region and sharing project benefits broadly. At its core, the Tummaville Solar Farm aims to support Queensland’s energy future by helping deliver reliable and affordable renewable energy, while also creating opportunities for regional communities.

As part of the Project’s planning and approvals process, we are undertaking a Social Impact Assessment (SIA) in consultation with community members and stakeholders across the region. This process will help inform the development of a Community Benefit Agreement (CBA) with Toowoomba Regional Council. This approach is intended to help identify local priorities, understand potential impacts and opportunities, and support meaningful long-term investment and benefit sharing for the region.

We are also continuing early consultation with key stakeholders, including near neighbours, Traditional Custodians and relevant government agencies as Project planning progresses.
